
SOUTH KOREA VISA REQUIREMENTS

NOTE: Applicants should submit the visa application not more than 3 months before the
intended date of departure.
1. Application Form in A4 size paper (Computerized, handwritten is not allowed, please fill up
from PDF file to avoid any misarrangements.)
2. 2 pc. passport size colored picture (3.5×4.5cm) white background & taken within 6 months
3. Passport (valid within 6 months)
4. Photocopy of Passport Bio-page in A4 size paper
5. Original & Photocopy of valid visa and arrival stamps to OECD member countries for the
past 5 years in A4 size paper
● Australia, Austria, Belgium, Canada, Chile, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France,
Germany, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Ireland, Israel, Italy, Japan, Korea, Luxemburg, Mexico,

Switzerland, Turkey, United Kingdom & United States.
6. Photocopy of PRC Card or IBP Card [Front & Back] (if applicable only)
7. Original Personal Bank Certificate (must be issued within 3 months and include account
name, account number, account type, current balance, account opening date, 6 months average
daily balance/ADB)
8. Original Personal Bank Statement for latest 3 months (original or certified true copy of bank
statements/passbook)
9. Photocopy of Latest Income Tax Return (ITR) or Form 2316, 1701, 1702
in A4 size paper
● ITR submitted should include the pages with net income and total revenue, must have
signature of taxpayer and employer.
● All pages must be submitted with net income and total revenue with signature of taxpayer
and stamp of receipt BIR or email confirmation forBusinessowners or self-employed.
● If the company name is different from the current employer, provide an explanation letter

FOR EMPLOYED
a) Original Certificate of Employment ▫must be issued within 3 months and include
applicant’s position, date hired, compensation, company name & address,HR landline
number (cellphone number is not allowed), HR email address.
FOR SELF-EMPLOYED / BUSINESS OWNERS
b) Photocopy of Latest Business Registration from SEC or DTI in A4 size paper
● The SEC should include pages with a list of stockholders and the applicant’s name
must be present in the list.
● For DTI, names must match the applicants.
c) Photocopy of Latest Business Permit or Mayor’s Permit in A4 size paper (Business
name must match in SEC or DTI)
d) Photocopy of Certificate of Registration in A4 size paper (Must be under the name of
applicant)
FOR RETIREE
e) Photocopy of Senior citizen’s ID [Front & Back] If early retired, submit retirement
certificate or letter of explanation
FOR STUDENT / SPOUSE
f) Original School Certificate
● NOT Registration Form or Registration Receipt and must be valid within 3 months from
the date of issue.
g) Photocopy of School ID [Front & Back]
h) For family applications, a document for proof of relationship is a must.

SUPPORTING DOCUMENTS
❖Notarized Affidavit of Support
● If financially supported by relatives other than parents, submit an affidavit, complete financial
documents of the supporter, and proof of relationship (allowed are siblings, grandparents,
aunt/uncle). ● But parents’ financial documents must still be submitted.
❖Minors/students who are not applying together with parents should attach a photocopy of
their parents’ passports.
❖If parents already have an approved Korean visa, a photocopy of their visa and passport
should be attached.
❖For documents that cannot be provided, submit an explanation letter addressed to the
embassy written by the applicant.
If invited personally by Korean or company in Korea
★ invitation letter may be written in English or in Korea ○ Must include: inviter and invitee’s full
names, birthdates, relationship, invitee’s purpose of entry, period of stay, inviter’s contact
number, occupation, company name and date written with signature of the inviter is a must.
★ photocopy of inviter’s Passport or Identification Card (authentication not required)
★ photocopy of latest Korean Company Business Permit, if invited by Company in Korea
